Throught the agency  „Jadroagent" in the port of Kotor this morning sailed Russian military sailing ship  „Sedov"  ,LOA 117,5 m, BRT 3432 with 157 crew members and 35 passengers. Sailing ship named after the famous Russian explorer  Georgi  Jakovlevic  Sedov has four masts and in the category of traditional construction size is right behind the Royal Clipper. It was built in the shipyard  „Germany" in Kil in March 1921. And its first name was  „Magdalena Vinen II".  After the purchase from the company  „The North German Loyd"  in  1936. The ship was named  „Komodor Jonsen" and served as a sailing ship for training. In accordance with the decision of the Postdame conference Germany gave the sailing ship to the Soviet Union in December  1945 when it was renamed  „Sedov".

On board every year is impemented a practice with more then 300 students of secondary and higher education of Russia. Last year  „Sedov"  sailed around the world and it started on 20. May in Sankt Petersburg . In the port of Kotor it will stay until Monday.

At anchor was cruise ship  „Ventura"  LOA 289 m, BRT  116017, sails under the flag of Bermuda with 3081 passengers and  1182 crew members.
