Annual general practice in Port of Kotor

In order to have a reliable security measures of safety and quality the Port of Kotor has organized the annual general practice which covers all or most of the measures in accordance with the Manual of procedures integrated system of quality management and environmental protection and procedures provided for approved security plan of the port.

The exercise was conducted on Monday  (18.03. 2013. from 11h to 12h) with the participation of all state organs that have assignments in terms of safety, security and environmental prevention.



Exercise program included:

1)      Procedures (ISO 9001:2000)-  Procedure "Security, safety and environmental protection in the Port of Kotor";

2)       Plan of security and rescue - " Art. 2.2. "Procedures during fire"

3)      "Plan of safety of port" (Art  3.5) - "Procedures during extraordinary events";

   

     

   

     

4)      Procedures of integrated system of quality management and environmental protection.

( 17.4 )- "Monitoring and measurements of the environmental performance";

(20.4 ) - "Procedures and duties – management of oily liquid waste";

(21.4 ) - "Procedures and duties-preventive  intervention measures to protect the aquatorium of the port from pollution";



    

    


Adequate policy of quality and  defined objectives of quality of the company is defined its inputs of reviewing management of the company with a focus on:

a)      verification system of communication and cooperation with state authorities;

b)       resource aviability and response in terms of specific situations and events primarily referring to actions during extraordinary events

c)     organization, operational management and coordination of the security service, security and quality

d)    carrying out the necessary actions to remedy any deficiencies in order to achieve a more efficient fire protection,

e)      getting to know the organizational structure in terms of evacuation of people;

f)     procedures during spills or disposal into the sea of oil, petroleum derivatives, oily water  and otherliquid and solid waste that can pollute the environment;

g)   ensuring the safety of persons on the territory of the aquatorium of Port of Kotor  (passengers, users of port services, port workers, visitors…);

h)   ensuring  poštovanja relevantnih domaćih, međunarodnih i internih pravnih akata, zakona, konvencija, preporuka i pravila koje se odnose na funkcionisanje Luke u međunarodnom i domaćem saobraćaju;

c)      Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affair – Maritime Safety - Bar;

d)    Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affair  - Harbourmaster  Kotor;

e)      Ministry of internal Affairs – Sector for emergency situations and civil security - Bar and Herceg Novi;

f)     Ministry of Internal Affairs  - policija M.P.G.P. Kotor;

g)     Ministry of Internal Affairs –Traffic police - Kotor;

h)     Department of protection and rescue - Kotor;

i)      General hospital and Health center - Kotor.

j)      Security service, pilot service and environmental team of Port of Kotor.
