Luka Kotor

In the port of Kotor arrived on the 24^th of August Club Med 2, a magnificent liner that will take you on a fabulous voyage calling at some of the great destinations of the Mediterranean.
The ship's interior was totally redesigned, taking this exeptional 5-masted vessel to 5 Trident status. Elegance and comfort are the essence of this rare and intimist vessel. The totally revamped Spa will provide moments of serenity and wellness.
The ship consists in: 8 bridges, with a surface area of 2,000 m² (21,520 ft²), spacious cabins, all with sea view , 200 members of crew for 372 passengers, refined cuisine, buffet or à la carte, with a wine list of "Grand Cru" vintages, free seating in the restaurant, open bar and snacks during the day and evening and tea time every day at 4.30 pm at the stern of the ship.

On August 21^st 2010. In the aquatorium of  Kotor,  was tradinionally organized the event “Boka night”  with the parade of  50 masked  boats. The organizer of this event is the center of culture “Nikola Djurkovic”,with the  sponsorship and assistance in the organization and expressed support of  the Port of Kotor. With such and similar donations Luka Kotor continues to supports and promotes the cultural life of the town of Kotor.

The largest passenger sailing ship in the world, “Royal Clipper”, of the Dutch company “Star Clipper” arrived in the port of Kotor  on August 22^nd. One of the most luxurious ships in its fleet, is a common guest of the port of Kotor , and this time, using a gentle northwestern, It gave this almost forgotten scene by developing its five sails and sailed in Kotor Bay.

134m long ship with five masts, three decks and 5,000 tons carrying capacity, carrying 227 passengers for the enjoyment of which takes care 106 crew members. This ship has a reputation for top nautical and tourist clientele exquisite luxury, and its flying the flag of Luxembourg.

On August 11th 2010. Port of Kotor is visited by the ship M/V  „Silver Spirit“.

Silver Spirit in the world of cruisers represents an innovation in luxury cruising.With one of the highest space-to guest ratios, she will accommodate only 540 guests in ultimate style and comfort.Her interiors was made in the style of Art Deco with many innovations and most advanced marine technology. On board there are numerous restaurants offering dishes of international cuisine, live music, nightclubs, gym, wellness center, swimming pool, internet cafe.

On Sunday, July 11 early morning at the anchorage in front of Kotor arrived  the ship "Nieuw Amsterdam". This is the newest ship of the company Holland America Line, Inc.. The ship was on its maiden voyage set out from Venice July 4th and on this his first trip he visited  the town of Kotor. The ship was built by shipbuilders  Fincantieri.

Ship "Nieuw Amsterdam" celebrates the glamour of  New York City, whose name was Nieuw Amsterdam, and he has inspired interior decor. The interior decorations of the ship has been invested over $ 3 million of the works of old Dutch masters to the works of contemporary artists. Among them there are the works of Andy Warhol, the Richard Estes's and a Roy Lichtenstein.

The ship has 11 decks, I like Holland America Line premium brand has an innovative Asian restaurant, lounge bar overlooking the ocean, swimming pools, glass elevators in the middle of the ship, spa center, cyber bar, Italian restaurant, photo center and more.

On board were 2030  passengers and 876  crew members.
